Happy Thanksgiving

I am especially thankful this year, mostly because it is the first year in a long time that I have felt at peace with everything and everyone around me.  It has been hectic the past couple of days just like usual--trying to get ready for Thanksgiving.  Getting the kids to make their pies, keeping the kitchen clean for all the baking and cooking that needs to be done, getting all the stuff that we need for food and such (being short one egg for pies and realizing this right as I got back from the store should have totally messed up the evening but it just wasn't that big of a deal), all of this should have been an experiment in frustration, but for the first time I'm not cranky, I'm just really happy.  I'm grateful for my kids and good friends.  The general feeling in the house is overwhelmingly happy, what a great thing to have happen in the midst of such craziness as the holiday season. So a big THANK YOU to all my family and friends...near and far, it is because of you that life is good!!  My life wouldn't be the same without any of you and you give so much to me, asking so little in return.  Thank you for your unconditional love and support.  I love you all. xoxoxo
